A Treatment Designed Around Your Hair Loss.
SMP is not one identical treatment for every client. The areas treated, impression size, spacing, density, color and hairline design are selected according to your scalp, existing hair and treatment goals.
Shaved Head Treatment
Designed for clients who want to recreate the appearance of a closely shaved head while rebuilding the visual shape of a receded or lost hairline.
Creates thousands of small follicle-like impressions across areas of hair loss so the scalp visually resembles closely shaved hair.
The hairline, impression size, spacing, density and pigment color are gradually built and blended with any remaining natural hair.
Most treatments are completed over approximately 2–3 sessions. Individual sessions generally take around 2–3 hours depending on the amount of scalp being treated.
Hair Density Treatment
Designed for clients who still have existing hair but experience visible scalp exposure or thinning through areas such as the front, middle or crown.
Reduces the visual contrast between the scalp and existing hair, helping thinning areas appear fuller and more balanced.
SMP impressions are placed between existing hairs and carefully matched to the surrounding hair and scalp. The goal is visual density without overpowering the natural hair that remains.
Density treatments commonly require approximately 2–3 sessions. The exact plan depends on the amount of thinning, existing hair and the number of sections requiring treatment.
Scar Camouflage
SMP can be used to reduce the visual contrast of certain scalp scars, including scars left by previous hair transplant procedures.
Helps visually blend lighter or more noticeable scar tissue with the surrounding scalp and existing hair.
Carefully selected impressions are placed in and around the treatment area to reduce contrast and create a more consistent appearance.
Scar tissue can respond differently from untreated skin. The scar’s age, texture, color and location should be evaluated before determining an appropriate treatment plan.
Crown Treatment
Targets visible thinning or hair loss through the crown and blends the treatment into surrounding natural hair or other SMP-treated areas.
Adds the appearance of follicle density through areas where the scalp has become increasingly visible.
Impressions are distributed through the crown according to the client’s existing hair pattern and the amount of visual coverage required.
Crown work can be performed as an individual treatment area or incorporated into a larger density or shaved-head treatment plan.
Treatment Starts With Your Scalp.
Individual scalp sections are generally $800 USD per section. Your total treatment cost depends on which areas actually require SMP and the treatment plan recommended for you.
A client needing one area treated will have a different treatment plan from someone requiring work across the hairline, middle, crown, sides and back.
Get A Treatment Plan Before You Get A Price.
$800 is the standard price for an individual scalp section, but not every client requires the same number of sections or the same treatment approach. Multi-section and complete shaved-head treatments are evaluated as a complete treatment plan and may be priced differently from simply adding each individual section together.
Your final quote may be lower or higher depending on the areas requiring treatment, existing hair, previous SMP, scars, treatment complexity and the overall plan recommended for your scalp.
